I´ve posted a few pics as an appetizer. Forgive me...

Very good work GIP team. I have been looking forward to these luftwaffe division pics, can't wait to see some icons to go with them. When can we expect some kregsmarine ones?

Christiansan-
Thanks for taking my request about the HQ icons into consideration on the other thread.

Kraivan-
That would make a great Iraqi HQ pic. lol

May I suggest that instead of referring to this as the GIP and such, the GIMP sounds a bit more comical at the very least, and it does work if you take IM from Improvement.

Now you are lucky that I'm too drunk and too tired to throw anything... I didn't choose GIMP as it's already a name for a graphic program...

All the others... I'll answer your posts when I'm sober... cheers!

where to download

This work looks great but after 8 attempts and screwing up and reinstalling could you please have some instructions as where to download the files too

i presumed it was the GFX file, but is it in units/events/palattes etc?

Tis a common problem i have with downloads not specifiying paths and being a 50 year old computer illiterate. My thanks

I will make a guide to how you make everything, that will in time be made in this project, work proberly in the game.

88mm My pleasure... There will be made some great changes to the icon set, as it is full of historical mistakes (quite embarrasing, as I'm a history student).

Armouredwarrior I have answered your question in the Alexis forums...

edit: and I have now made the German leader pictures files available for download in the first post again. (sorry... forgot them earlier)

Instalation Guide added in the first post.

Further more Duchamp has joined the team, and he is currently working on Japanese divison and brigade pictures.

Here comes the first batch off air div pics for USSR.

I would gladly receive colour photos off Yak-4, Tupolev TB-3, Yak-2, Pe-3 and Pe-3b.

I did have to install some division pics in the HSR/GFX folder, like the HD. Don't know if its just me or some pics with the mod that has changed location.

True.
If you use a mod with its own GFX-file (as Stony Road) you have to put the pics in that file as well.
(This beacause any file in the HSR/GFX out-preference files in HOI2/GFX.)

Well im still downloading to GFX/models i unzip imto that blank file and then hit the unzip button - this produces a folder with all the material inside. However when i start the game there is no chnage.

I have downloaded to HSR and to HOI 2 GFX/interface/models on both but still no luck - should i try downloading to the backup file?

sorry aboput thwe hassles, hope to hear soon

Kiamorg, I´m not quite sure what your problem is but you must extract the pics into THE SAME folder, thus replacing the original pics. The way I do that (in order to make sure and save time) is I MARK all files within the archive and then pull them into the opened folder. This way you can be sure that the pics get extracted exactly where you want to.
Should you refer to the images I added: I put them up only as alternatives, giving them individual names which do not occur in the original game. Extract my files somewhere else, rename the ones you want to use and then copy them in the appropriate HoI2 folder.

I'm glad to present kraiovan13 as the newest member of our team... It has not yet been decided what he will start work on, but this will be made clear in the first post of this thread at a later time.

I would also like to use this post to thank all those people who supports us in our work, and especially to say a thank to those who have joined the team.

I would also like to remind people, that they are of course free to ask questions about the project, send in pictures, come with ideas or correct our mistakes (I know that atleast I have made some myself ).
