HSR 2.05 available for download!

Officially!
Yes, I released HSR 2.05 today. Since some sections of the forum (download) don't work I had to come up with an alternative download option. But it appears that this temporal work around will be the way HSR 2.05 comes to you.

So download and enjoy!

Thumbs up

Wow, I just downloaded this file in not even 3 seconds, matching an average download speed of almost 10 MBit. I don´t think I´ve ever had anything downloaded that fast before. What server/provider do you use?
Anyway, thanks a lot for HSR 2.05! Now I know what I´ll be doing the next few days (weeks, months?)...

Hopefully you mods are reading this and not playing

I'm at work right now and can't download it at the moment, but was just curious if you have a changelog you can post.

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Yeah I saw that one, thanks. Was just curious if you had a newer one you could post. (assuming more changes are in since that one was posted)

Thanks for the cheers folks!

Btw.: the changelog comes with the installer, too.
As for the provider - that is for Nighty to answer.

uh...

Just tried out this mod - realistic? Uh.

Don't you think Germany's IC is just a /tad/ over? its insane. More than Russia? come on. and equal to the US, thats more than slightly out.

maybe, maybe not there are a lot of factors that must be considered e.g. if the us has its full industrial potential in 36 it will outproduce everybody in 36. this isn´t realistic, the us started it´s war production later and the political steps towards this productions are part of the game/mod. our approach may need additional refinement but that´s exactly what dec and aregorn are doing. they´re making this mod better in every new version.

btw: since this is a 2.05 thread, have you tried 2.06? you´ll notice differences that should prove my point.

Yeah, I appreciate there has to be a nod to playability specially with regard to the USA's dominance - I was curious as to how powerful the US would be in this mod given IRL they had 50% of the entire worlds war production (which would be, what, the same as Germany, USSR, UK and Japan combined? Ouch) - and in truth I don't mind much as I tend to play the Allies and having a beefier Germany makes the game more interesting, but, that said...

in 1940 its not so much blitzkrieg as an enormous steamroller which crushes France flat, with a huge quantitative as well as qualitative advantage. When it came to the Battle of the Atlantic Germany had 6 Bismarcks! and more IC than the Soviet Union and UK combined. its kinda over the top. I actually think the original HoI2 had a better IC distribution that seemed to play about right.

Though I much prefer the unit tweaks of this mod, and the new events are boss, and I dont play the original HoI2 anymore so thumbs up anyway.
