(a little late this happened in 2007 but all these spammers atacking our site made me remind folks spammers are not just a harmles bunch they are a menace and futher more most of them are criminals if you doubt that look at this thread

Well, yes, many of them really are criminals. But still, spam itself isn´t illegal, it´s contents may be (and mostly are)!
